I had an incredible experience on the Paso del Mango tour, and Marco was a huge part of what made it so special. From the moment we started, he was warm, knowledgeable, and deeply passionate about the region. He guided us through breathtaking waterfalls, a peaceful animal reserve, and a delightful chocolate-making experience. Marco was attentive to everyone’s needs, answered all our questions with patience, and shared fascinating stories that added depth to every stop. His energy and professionalism made the day unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour – and especially Marco – if you want an authentic and enriching experience in nature!

Feel super lucky for finding this tour! We were coming to Santa Marta with no plans - were going to try to wing until we realized it wasn't so easy. Our main goal was to hike around Tayrona National Park but I stumbled on this tour while searching and it sounded so unique. From the moment we arrived we were in touch and received a detailed message the day prior giving us all the details and a list of items to bring. Marco met us right at the hotel and the rest is history. We were blown away by his knowledge and overall enthusiasm. He made the trip special for us and allowed us to go at our own pace since we have a 10yr old with us. We modified things as we went. The whole day was so informative and we especially loved the Cacao Farm and tasting Cacao fruit. Even booked Marco for a tour the following day because we enjoyed our time with him so much. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an "off the beaten path" experience.

Marco was great, he is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. At first we were skeptical about the higher price compared to other tours, however, this tour is one of a kind and you won’t encounter other tourists on the trail. We had the 4 waterfalls to ourselves (compared to the Minca waterfalls that are VERY crowded). The hike lasted about 4 hours through the jungle towards the different waterfalls. The hike is intense, so if you are looking for a leisurely nature walk this is not for you. You will be crossing rivers, using rope to stay on trail, but it was exactly the experience we were looking for. Bring sandals or waterproof shoes to avoid having to take off your shoes at each crossing. The meal was great after a long hike. We were able to some animals at the sanctuary (macaws, arapaima, crocodile) and plants. Cacao farm was very informative. In total, there were 4 of us on this hike and lasted a total of 10 hours from pick up to drop off. Great day.
