I booked at private tour with Eslam, requesting a tailored experience, and I was more than happy with the way things turned out. He's highly knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptology. I learned a dense amount (that's one of the main things that I wanted). It was easy to pay attention: he's smart, articulated and enthusiastic. Also I made some last minute requests which added changes to our program and he was flexible. Within all the qualities, I'd say that the strongest one was that Eslam understood immediately what I wanted and what I didn't want, which amounted to a maximum quality experience. Also, he has a great car. And he's overall a good guy: we realized during the tour that we both had our birthdays on that day, which came as a surprise to both of us; he insisted on buying me lunch.

Es is a fount of knowledge about Ancient Egyptian history. It was so helpful having him guide us through the pyramids and sphinx, as well as getting to visit some other great locations as part of the cultural experience. We had so much jam packed into one day, it was great value for money.
