My guide Vincent was throughly knowledgeable about Crete, and he reveled in sharing his joy and pride in the Island.
He had discovered this Shepard’s trail and part of the E-4 hiking trail, and I loved the nature of it, it’s isolation and some of the ruggedness of it. But most of all, I loved the setting. Beautiful, somewhat challenging and always delightful.
Vincent pushed me to achieve while fully accommodating my limitations. He was a wonderful host…of Crete and of his trail.

Spędziliśmy świetny dzień w miłym towarzystwie. Michael jest świetnym przewodnikiem. Każdemu poświęcał swoją uwagę i starał się integrować całą grupę. Ma świetne poczucie humoru więc nie sposób się nudzić. Był otwarty na absolutnie wszystkie pytania i cierpliwie na nie odpowiadał. Był także tłumaczem (z angielskiego na grecki). Bardzo polecam wszystkim niezdecydowanym. Atrakcja jest warta swojej ceny. Na koniec była przepyszna uczta i każdy wracał z pełnym brzuchem :)

The perfect way to connect with Cretan cultured.
This experience was such a treat! Getting to connect with different locals at the site of production and hearing their stories was so fun. I learned so much about Cretan culture and the people who live on the island, I wish I had more time to get out of the touristy coastal areas and explore the mountains a bit more, that’s where the real Crete is.
Wine, oil, raki (and honey, breads, cheeses, etc) were such a great way to focus on the simplicity of the delicious food and drink, you don’t need a food tour on Crete, you only need this tour!
The pacing was calm, not a lot of walking, and the driving time between each location was a great way to take in the scenery. We were a very small group, so we got a lot of one on one time with the guide and producers and we could ask so many questions and take the time to explore different topics and perspectives together.
We went over our time, which we planned for since island time is slow and relaxed, no rushing, only savoring and connecting. So fun!
