Tahar was an amazing host — friendly, fun, and charming. He gave us a fascinating history lesson about Morocco’s rich past, which added so much depth to the walking tour. We actually got lost trying to find the meeting location, and he kindly came to find us — a true example of his hospitality. It was a truly memorable experience!

I had an absolutely unforgettable experience on my tour of Marrakech with Tahar! From the very start, he was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. His passion for the city’s rich history and culture shone through with every story he told, whether we were exploring the majestic old palace, the oldest university in the city, or navigating the colorful maze of the souks.

What truly made this tour stand out was Tahar’s authenticity. He’s down-to-earth, honest, and genuinely wants you to have the best experience possible. He speaks excellent English, answered every question with depth and patience, and made sure we felt at ease throughout the day.

And let me just say...he takes fantastic photos! So much so that I told him he should offer a photography add-on for his tours!

If you're visiting Marrakech and want a guided experience that’s insightful, personal, and completely enjoyable, I can't recommend Tahar highly enough. He’s a gem of a guide in a truly magical city.

The host didn’t send me a meetup location, so I went to the address listed on the post. When I arrived, the host wasn’t there. Even though I was the only person on the tour, they didn’t make the effort to meet me at the location provided. I called, messaged, and even sent a WhatisApp to the number listed, but got no response. A few minutes later, I received a call from a different number asking me to walk to a nearby café instead. He said he didn't know what address was in the post. The person you chat here is not who you will meet there.

As for the tour itself, the guide seemed friendly and tried to be flexible with the schedule, but didn’t share much insight about the city or the places we visited. He was visibly annoyed when I took pictures while he was talking, and unfortunately wasn’t able to take a single good photo of me either.

I wouldn’t say it was a waste of money, but I also wouldn’t recommend this experience.
