When we got to the place, the unit was so hot and didn’t cool down for hours. We called the hosts who didn’t actually know which unit we were in. We have a baby, who was hard to put to sleep in the heat. The co-hosts were unhelpful. They didn’t know which unit we were in. After several hours, the unit finally cooled to a comfortable temperature. That was without the co-hosts’s help. Lastly, the trash situation wasn’t the greatest. There is no trash bin or large trash bags. So a week’s worth of dirty diapers began to stink in the garage. When trash pickup did come — on our last day, course — they didn’t pick up all the bags. It seems like they only picked up trash in black bags not the white bags we were provided. We did, however, purchase black bags anticipating this. Our experience is a problem with the gig economy, the decline of customer service and AirBnB in general. It was like getting tech support when all you need is to talk to someone who cares.
