It was a super interesting and fun experience to learn the photogravure art, and Maria made it super fun and unique. We had a great time and came away with a very special photo to keep or gift. You also get access to El Poble Español to learn about further spanish culture. Highly recommended!

2025. júliusHands down, the BEST EXPERIENCE I've had in Barcelona so far!
Beautifully located inside Poble Espanyol, working printmaking art atelier. Maria is an experienced printmaker, wonderful guide into the technique, all materials were provided and of the highest standard.
I found it extremely interesting! SO INSPIRING !
If you are a photographer or a printmaker - this is your place!
Ps. whoever found Maria and put this workshop on Airbnb desires a pay raise! :)

2025. júliusThis was such an immersive and unique experience in Maria’s real studio. She showed us the full process and technique of print making with a metal plate, which we got to keep along with two prints. You use your own photograph, which Maria will prepare on a sheet for you to transfer to the metal sheet with a machine. It was really fun, hands-on, and special! Maria was a wonderful teacher! You also can explore the rest of Poble Espanyol (where the studio is), which has several other artist shops and museum aspects. I recommend taking a photo you love around Barcelona and bringing that to the workshop for an extra special print!
