We had a great stay! Beautiful house with great views from the upper deck. High end fixtures and appliances in a relaxed setting was just what we wanted. While not technically on the beach, you’re just steps to the beach and with the windows cracked, you can fall asleep to the sounds of waves on the shore. We’d return in an instant.

We loved this place and would recommend it for any season. The furniture and amenities made it very comfortable. JP is a great host and took care of us well.

Great location in Stowe, plus fantastic access to the Von Trapp resort amenities. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a weekend stay in the area.

Nantucket is expensive no matter what time of year one visits. This family compound was no exception. We chose J.P.'s place for its location--easy access to a gorgeous sunset beach--and the fact that there were three cottages, not one, that allowed the youngest family to put the kids to bed early while the rest of us stayed up later to watch football or play games. This was the best part. Our daughter and her husband with no kids were able to sleep in late at the Bunkhouse, while the early risers could make coffee (and noise) in Crazy Love. This compound was easily the best supplied Airbnb we have ever experienced, with a fantastic kitchen, lots of toilet paper, and the most amazing outdoor showers ever. It was not a bargain, but it was exactly the place we wanted and needed for our special occasion.
