We had a short but comfortable stay in Wabi Sabi studio and would definitely recommend it to others staying in or around Berea. Hosts were very responsive.

My first week the weather was unbearably hot, but I was cool inside—surrounded by trees, cradled in the holler.
Inside, cool and peaceful, surrounded by all media of art, antiques, curiosities and other “weird” things!

The weather cooled off the second week and the porch swing and gardens ruled!

This beautiful cabin exceeded my expectations! It’s filled with family photographs, original artwork and antiques. We loved everything! Our stay started with a slight bump … my fault because I forgot the entry code! However, one call to the host took care of that. It rained a bit during our stay and the lovely sound of the water bouncing off the tin roof as we relaxed on the front porch swing was relaxing and romantic. There was a second swing down by the creek where we sat and enjoyed the fire pit and the sounds of nature. The bed was so comfortable I had to force myself to get up in the morning! This was my best stay ever and I’m anxious to return in the fall. I highly recommend this exceptional hideaway and the wonderful host! You just won’t find a more secluded, romantic cabin!!!

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed there and we are ready to go back for a 3rd time already.
Wabi Sabi is the most amazing place we’ve ever stayed in. If you are a thrifter or love unique places and things, THIS is the place for you!!
The sound of the creek in the backyard, the fire pit near the creek, the rock collection, the view , how peaceful it is, the porch swing, are just a few things that make the trip worth it.
