Not a terrible place, but things are sort of run down. The kitchen had many issues, mice and slightly worse for wear in general. The dining table was propped up on books and magazines so it was really unstable. The bed killed my back because there is an arbitrary piece of foam on top if the mattress.

The people are lovely but they live downstairs and the smoking is very noticeable in the house.

Very lovely hosts but the house felt a bit stretched by the number of guests. Hate to give a bad review but felt it’s important.

All around a great experience! Would highly recommend.

. The house was huge

We would like to thank David and Ruthe for being an understanding and thoughtful as we stay their place during this pandemic times. We stayed from may till mid july. And enjoyed this gem for a quite place in the middle of downtown. For a quiet couple like us its really good but if you cant avoid making noise it might be a problem cos its an old building especially for the downstairs. During the summer the building heats up really fast makes it difficult to cool down. Even though they offered to install the window AC unit we didn’t install them. That’s our fault you never know how hot that building can be. For a remote work they provided us a self access so that I can continue on mine. Thank you for that. But connection is low on upstairs which makes it difficult to watch something if you stuck in the house for a long time. For the kitchen they have good utilities for cooking and living. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Cheers
