This cottage was very comfortable and well eqipped. Big bonus with the load shedding is the gas stove and emergency lighting in the kitchen and bathroom.
The hosts were friendly.

This room (really studio apartment) was a great place to stay during for a few weeks in Jozi. I could cook and store leftovers in the fridge and work at the small desk. A bit of solar lighting ensured I could still see during load shedding. While I'm always cold during Johannesburg winters, the host provided an electric radiator and blankets which helped a lot. The location was great--just a few minutes from most Melville destinations and a short drive to the Wits campus.
