Came down for a football weekend & the loft couldn't have been more perfect for my husband & I. We were thrilled that we could bring our dog & didn't have to board her. My husband was at first worried that he'd feel uncomfortable since this is a 2nd floor apartment over/attached to the house. But once we walked in, he was totally at ease. It felt completely separate, we never heard anything from the house, and we didn't feel like we needed to tip toe around. It's cozy and cute, brightly lit - perfect for two. There is a steep staircase to get up to the apartment. I have had both of my hips replaced - I'm 100% recovered, so the stairs were fine for me now. But they would have been a problem for me before my surgeries. Our dog is a rescue and she still hasn't mastered stairs, so I mostly carried her up and down. My arthritis plus a 28 lbs dog did make me a little nervous, but I was fine. Just a heads up for people with mobility issues. We'll definitely come back
