Hi :) We’re Caroline and Amit, proud pet parents to four wonderful dogs—Scotty, Wrinkles, Kobi, and Sally—and two adorable cats, Timmy and Nosy. Originally from Mumbai, we’ve now made Kalote our home and our little sacred space to live and work from. We love meeting new people (and their furry friends!) and look forward to welcoming you to our cottage.

We had a wonderful experience at Scotty’s with our 2 dogs. The place is beautifully designed and very well maintained. It felt just like home to us. Our dogs enjoyed roaming freely in the yard while we could spend some quiet time away from the firecrackers during this Diwali. Amit was a super-host and was always available to help us with everything that we needed. Meals by Caroline were fantastic as well and we may come back just to have some more! Even the meals provided for our pets were well made, as per our instructions and generous in quantity. We were happy to see that the pets were being treated just like any other guest in the house! Overall, we would definitely recommend this place to every pet parent looking for some quiet time away from the city life. We are definitely coming back soon to meet Scotty and his pack again!

We stayed here for the second time and it was just as amazing and relaxing as the first time. The perfect dog friendly place with plenty of space to run around off leash, and a perfect place to stroll around the lake nearby.

Amit was on location and was as attentive and proactive as I remember him being the first time we visited.

Definitely recommend this place, whether you’re a pet owner or not.

Amit and Caroline's place was cozy and comfortable. All the required amenities were in place. There is a lake within a 5 minutes walking distance, it's a great place to take your furry kids to.
As an added bonus you'll find eggs and masalas and oil and all the basics available in the kitchen.
Amit is super responsive.
I'll highly recommend this property to all pet parents

My partner and I had a lovely two day stay at Scotty's House. The house was very well-equipped with all the required appliances and amenities, making us feel right at home. The house is just the right size for a couple and has a neat garden outside to enjoy breakfast in. The place is very easy to find and close to a lake and hidden waterfall, which is where we spent most of our time. I highly recommend the Indian breakfast options offered by Amit such as the dosa, poha and egg burji that were absolutely delicious and tasted of home! And lastly, Amit was a very warm and responsive host who was always available to answer queries and respond to our requests.We especially admired the deep respect and concern he had for protecting nature in the surrounding areas and his foresight in protecting it for the long run...as fellow nature-lovers it was very heartening to see that!
