I had a very pleasant stay at Chie and Bob’s place. The room is cozy and located in a great neighborhood, everything is within walking distance. The hosts are super friendly and laid-back, and I felt welcome right away.

The house is a bit sound-sensitive, so you might hear footsteps from upstairs, but that’s just the character of the building. It didn’t bother me at all, I slept really well.

Considering how expensive accommodation in Glasgow can be, this place is a great alternative and offers excellent value for money. I’d definitely stay here again!

Lovely flat and room. Chie told me exactly what I needed to know and made me a very welcome cup of coffee. Very quiet and relaxing stay.

Chie and Bob are very friendly people and warmly welcomed me to their home. I saw them a bit the first few days but then barely at all for the rest of my week’s stay.
The bedroom is one of two they rent out and both are off the hallway and share a bathroom (which was super clean). Guests are welcome to use the kitchen but this is on the small side and I was very mindful of not intruding on family life too much.
The flat is in a great location about a 5 minute walk from Hillhead subway station and close to all manner of cafes, restaurants and bars and fabulous shops. Should the weather be fair, you are also close to the lovely Botanic Gardens and central Glasgow is only a 50 minute walk.
The rooms are in the back of the flat and so away from the road and quiet. The only thing I would say is the walls are on the thin side and unfortunately the people in the fiat upstairs were pretty noisy at times during this particular week so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper!

Perfect place to stay in the west end. Room is large, with big desk and fast WiFi which made working remotely from here a breeze. Bob and Chei were very friendly and the house setup was cozy.
