This place is truly my nirvana and magical get away. Because of its location it isn't for everyone. But I go there to be by myself so I can hike, swim, sit in the hot tub and eat excellent food. I love walking up and down the mountain. The local physical therapist, Rebecca at Macrobiotica Orosi always makes me feel better. Monica's place is absolutely spot on with decorations, amenities and grounds. I just can't rate this place high enough. If you have difficulty walking it isn't the place for you but if you like to be in nature and walk then you will love it.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt. Ein wunderschöner Ort mit einem paradiesischen Garten. Wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Leider waren wir nur 2 Tage dort. Monika ist sehr hilfsbereit und jeder Zeit erreichbar.

Moni has a slice of paradise that she kindly shares with her guests. This place surpassed our expectations. We cannot wait to come back.

Our stay with Monica could not have been better. It was the little touches that contributed to a great stay. There were fresh eggs from Monica's personal hen house. We enjoyed feeding our veggie and fruit scraps the chickens each day. The jacuzzi was just the right temperature with an amazing view of the surrounding hills. Feeding the coy in the pond was mesmerizing as they came in large numbers to be fed. The shared living area was comfortable, and the large outdoor seating area was used by us every day to watch numerous birds and identify them with an app that identified them by sound. The highlight of our stay was a tour by Monica of her lovely gardens that were filled with many plants we were unfamiliar with. We are certainly hoping that we can visit again when we return to Costa Rica.
