We had a fantastic holiday at this beautiful historic house. Our group ranged from 1-70 years old.

José María and his son greeted us and showed us around the house. He was very responsive and attentive throughout our stay and it was great to have all of the rooms with en suite bathrooms. We spent most of our time in the outside areas and the pool which was great for the kids with a large shallow end. Bring beach towels with you for the pool and beach.

The Outside BBQs and paella cookers were large enough to cater for all of us.

The area was peaceful and outside of the main town, a 2.5k walk to the local beach and a bit further to Denia. There were lots of supermarkets close by and a car would be useful for trips out and about.

Jose’s villa is a beautiful place to spend a family holiday (we celebrated our parents 80ths there), especially enjoying the gorgeous pool, garden and shaded seating area with views to Denia Castle and Montgó. We found it quick and easy to drive into Denia, to local supermarkets and to local beaches.
We used the recommended private chef for a fantastic meal cooked at the villa’s outdoor kitchen for an extra special evening.
Jose checked in with us during the week and was responsive to any requests or issues. He was a lovely host.
We had thought the twin rooms could be made up as doubles, as it is listed as 11 double bedrooms, unfortunately this wasn’t possible, so just be aware there are actually only 3 double bedrooms. The air conditioning is not quite right for the space, so it does cool it a bit but it isn’t what you might be used to. Finally, the water out of the taps is saline, so you will need to buy bottled water.
All in all we had a fun filled, relaxing week - thank you Jose!

is stunning ! The space around the house is amazing. Jose ( and his family) is a wonderful host, very responsive and even offered us his car as we couldn't hire one straight away. Everything was perfect / a minor issue if I had to mention something was that you are advised not to drink the water as is comes from a well so leaving a few bottle of water in the fridges would have been a nice touch until we got settled . Having said that I told José we were stressed about the lack of water and shortly after two enormous containers appeared ! I would definitely return - a perfect holiday !

We had such a fantastic time here. It was beautiful and spacious enough for our large party (9 adults and 8 children). We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and the private chef recommended by José. The house was ideally located for travelling to nearby sandy beaches and fun restaurants. José was lovely and looked after us very well. Thank you and we would love to come back one day!
