Charlotte’s home is a welcome retreat on Niantic Bay! Our family, which included two toddlers and an infant, appreciated the lovely location on the water. The nearby playground-park is walkable but the children were happy digging in the sand and dipping their toes in the water instead. The beach tables and furniture were convenient for outside dining and lounging. The beds, each made up with sheets and a lightweight blanket, were clean and comfortable. (Bring heavier blankets if you like more weighted covers.) The kitchen had what we needed to prepare and serve meals. Condiments are not supplied but there was salt. The owner allows pets for a fee and two of our group who are allergic to pet hair/dander were slightly affected by stray hair, etc. of a previous pet visitor. All in all, the peaceful water views, sailboats drifting along, and the sound of the gentle waves made Charlotte’s home a perfect place for our short October getaway! Only wish it had been longer!

My family and I traveled for a much needed vacation and we were looking g for something both accommodating and near the water and this for the bill! It was in a beautiful location and you can tell that the owners take care of their home. We loved the peace and serenity we experienced here and it was an amazing experience. I would say that the bathroom clean could have been slightly better but overall we loved it and would definitely book again for future trips!
