I have nothing but amazing things to say about this property. The location on the river is magnificent for relaxing and watching wildlife. The house itself is comfortable and well-appointed. We love Hopkins, and we loved staying here!

Beautiful spot, Delgado and his wife Christina were very helpful who help managed the property. Quiet and private beautiful view of the river, however those looking to venture out it’s a little bit of a drive for most activities, but everything with the property was great

The White Orchid Villa is a lovely house in a beautiful setting on the banks of the Sittee River. It's surrounded by large trees that were filled abundant bird life that was a treat to listen to while sitting in the hammock in the screened in porch. Due to its location on the river there are lots of mosquitoes so bug spray is a must, which also made the screened in porch that much nicer.
There is a canoe available to go explore the river and the lovely Town of Hopkins is a short drive away.
The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of spices and everything you would need to prepare meals.
The on-site caretakers Christina and Domingo were friendly and welcoming.
Rupa, the owner was very helpful with suggestions and local contacts for tour guides. She also quickly responded to any questions we had.
To top it off, there were friendly dogs with two adorable puppies that totally charmed my daughters.
We would definitely come back!
