Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay, and loved the location - will absolutely be looking to come back in the future!

Alison was a very friendly host and sweet with our young kids. Highlight was definitely the fabulous pool with an incredible view and water was a very comfortable temperature even for little ones. Kids also enjoyed the wet room style showers, running naked around the garden in the rain (good privacy!) and ‘hiking’ down to the lake - took 20mins with their little legs but not very far for grown ups. Food highlights include Eggs to Apples (farm shop), The Middle House in Mayfield (family friendly pub) and The Small Holding in Kilndown (7 course set menu - food and whole experience was an absolute delight).

There was a group of 20 of us for my daughter’s Hen weekend. Alison was friendly and very helpful in the lead up. She allowed us to be there a little early to set up, and took a personal interest in our French theme. There were even 4 vases of Sunflowers on the tables, which meant a lot. The accommodation and the rapport with Alison all felt very comfortable.

Alison was a wonderful host. She was ready to answer any requests or questions and very accommodating. The location was just what we wanted. Lots of outdoor space and places to explore. The pool and games room provided plenty of family fun. The Calf shed is well equipped, cosy but spacious and beautifully designed.
