Tonia was very responsive and her place was in a great location - very close to the beach and the fun zone and walking distance to great bars and restaurants.

The property itself was fine, but the host, Tanya, made this one of the worst Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. She demanded I pay for a higher water bill, even though this was never part of the rental agreement. When I questioned it, she became hostile and threatened to enter the home without permission.

She later showed up unannounced, entered the property, and started taking photos, claiming it was for refinancing. Things escalated even further when she pulled into the driveway, blocked my guests from leaving, yelled aggressively, and tried to force everyone out. Her behavior was threatening, intimidating, and completely unacceptable.

To make matters worse, she then threatened to have me banned from Airbnb, which felt like retaliation simply because I stood up for myself. This host clearly disregards Airbnb rules, guest safety, and basic respect.

For your own safety and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding this host.
