We stayed 4 nights and had a great time. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for us to explore Bar Harbor, Acadia, Bangor, and the surrounding areas. Already planning our trip back and will definitely be staying here again!

This is a sweet cabin on the shore of a lake. It is a beautiful setting, peaceful and private. The cabin is not fancy but is cozy, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The lake was low (a reservoir?) which didn’t impact us much, but if you’re planning to spend a lot of time swimming and hanging out on the beach, it would be good in inquire about the water level.

We visited the Northeast for leaf peeping and stayed two nights at Dan’s place. It was by far the top stay during our four state journey. The lake and cottage were fantastic.

The setting was beautiful right on the lake and it was indeed rustic, probably more than we'd anticipated. We would have liked a microwave! The open ceilings meant less privacy than desired, but we made the best if it and enjoyed the area and our overall experience!
