Lilias booked the room for his son Patrick who stayed with us for one week. Lilias kindly asked for Patrick to use the kitchen/lounge area and I agreed with it. We were away for two days so Patrick had to self-check in. The rest of the week we didn't get to see Patrick and he was really quiet. At the time of the check-in I sent very clear instruction on how to close the door but he was leaving the door unlocked. However, it did't happed again after I sent him a message. Issues like this may arise with third-party bookings as you don't communicate with the guest right from the start. Apart from this, Patrick followed the house rule and there were no issues with check-in and check-out. I would recommend Patrick to other Airbnb hosts and he is welcome back anytime.
