Este alojamiento existe pero hace ya 3 años que no acogen a nadie y NO FUNCIONA COMO AIRBNB. Fuimos hasta allí y una familia nos dijo que Sulay (la hija) ya no vive en Santa Lucía y hace 3 años que cancelaron Airbnb pero por algún motivo la cuenta sigue activa aceptando solicitudes automáticamente. NO RESERVAR.

Sulay and her family are really nice and welcoming.
But you have to know that Santa Lucia is a very small place, with not many options.
If you just want to stay a few days to visit the beach (you can rent a roller to drive there), it is definitely a good choice, but I would not stay long, also because the house is located next to a big street, where many trucks drive by during the night. It is very loud, and you can hear everything through the walls.
The room we stayed in had the necessary equipment, and was clean, but it is not the nicest, especially if you consider the price.
But besides that I think that Sulay is a nice host and also helps you to organize a way to go to the beach (the drive with a roller or Taxi is about 30 minutes).

Muy bien como Lugar de paso

My mother and I both really enjoyed the experiences we had in Santa Lucia thanks to Sulay's help and her lovely home. My goal with coming to Santa Lucia was to visit Cayo Jutias (Jutias Keys) and staying at Sulay's place was such a great idea compared to the typical plan of taking a one day trip from Viñales and then rushing back before sunset. I communicated with her through this website prior, about my interest in obtaining my own transport to Jutias, a scooter that she was able to get from someone. I had breakfast at her home each morning for just 5CUC which was very convenient. After my first nights stay at her place she got me the scooter and her husband taught me some basics on how to use it (I have driven old motorcycles but wasn't familiar with these electric things which are super easy to drive). Her home is located on a main road in Santa Lucia, across from a good restaurant (extremely essential because I walked around Santa Lucia for a long time looking for something else to eat, found nothing then came back to that yellow building right across from her home and found out it was a very delicious dine in). That main road where Sulay lives leads you right to the entrance of the only road leading to Jutias. This trip was everything amazing I could have imagined it to be and more. The way her home is laid out, you are on the second floor with your own entrance, own balcony and a lot of privacy. Sulay arranged very cheap transit back to Viñales, our next destination. Thank you for making this trip magical, Sulay. Santa Lucia is NOT a very touristy town so it helps to have Sulay help you out on whatever you need and she did this very well. Gracias.
