If you’re looking for a magical quintessentially English cottage/village experience, look no further!

On driving into Foolow at night we were greeted by the beautifully lit up Bulls Head pub. We then parked up by near the war memorial, church and duck pond and entered the beautiful cottage. Our breath was taken away! It was so clean and cosy. There were complementary teas, coffees, milk and biscuits, as well as firewood for the fire and a selection of games to play. The owners provide a selection of walks to choose from in the local area, and in a nearby village is the beautiful Barrell Inn, which overlooks a stunning view of the Peak District and offers fantastic food.

I couldn’t recommend this cottage enough. it’s easy to find and is nestled among some of the most beautiful countryside I’ve ever seen. Many of the best Peak District hikes are nearby so you’ll be spoilt for choice on what to do. Many thanks to Mike for the wonderful stay!

Tudor Cottage was perfect as a base for our walking holiday - very cosy and with all the amenities we needed. Foolow as a village was lovely. The sets of directions for lots of walks out the front door were a really nice touch as well. Would definitely recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay here for a couple of days. We felt instantly at home, and the surrounding area is wonderful and it's a close and easy drive to several day trips.
