A truly special place to stay! We were blown away by the property and the views! The lodge was beautifully set out, with loads of thoughtful touches - felt like home straight away! For us the stars of the show were the wood-fired hot tub, sauna and fire pit! Stephen is a great host; really helpful communication from the outset and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back!

Stephen's property was fantastic... we didn't want to leave! One entire wall was floor to ceiling double doors... you can feel right outside, or tuck them all in and feel snug and cozy. He thought of every detail and had everything at hand for our stay, especially important since it's a bit of a hike back to civilization (as intended). Even the fires for 4 separate amenities (hot tub, sauna, campfire, and stove) were pre-staged and lit with one match! (if you don't have a lot of fire stoking experience, don't hesitate to call for his aid). Even the instruction manual was useful and well-written (don't miss the Connage Dairy Cheese Room). My wife has requested we add: "Even the paper towels were nice!". Stephen really does provide an excellent service, and goes far above and beyond the "cheap" amenities you find at some places... This private lodge is 5+ stars!

Wow, this place has the most amazing views! Highly recommend staying! My husband and I loved our stay here; it was cozy and beautiful! The hot tub was so clean and wonderful, as was the rest of the place. If you're thinking about booking, just do it, you won't regret it!
