We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a very quiet neighbourhood; close to the forest and the village. It is a short walk (down some steps) to the village which has a shop, bakeries (yes, more than one) and a number of restaurants (the creperie is great). You are also close to the lake and chateau. There are miles of walking and cycling tracks in the forest and you can access these from the road the house is on.

The house itself was super clean. There are 2 two large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom and bathroom is on the ground floor and the other bedroom and bathroom are accessed by a spiral staircase on the upper floor. There is a large living area and a modern kitchen. We visited in autumn so we didn’t use the outside balcony but it has a wonderful view over the chateau.
