New Zealand has been home since 2003 . I appreciate my own backyard and what a special country we live in , but I also I love to travel a bit further afield. I love exploring countries and cultures all around the world and try and do one good long haul trip a year. I’ve really enjoyed hosting since I started , I love people enjoying the space I’ve created. Gives me a lot of pleasure when people have a great stay.

I would 10/10 recommend this cosy little place. It is so peaceful and the amenities were great. As a testament to how great it was, we went during a weekend with terrible weather (both insane rain and wind) yet found ourselves enjoying our stay so much that we want to come back soon. The spa really came in clutch. Sam was also a fantastic host and really went above and beyond

What a great place to stay, spotlessly clean and great location, right on the beach (via a 30 second walk through the sand dunes). Tastefully decorated and the spa was lush. Sam kindly offered us early check in (which unfortunately we couldn’t take advantage of) and a late check out which was very much appreciated! Just one (v small) thing to note - you need to take your own shampoo & conditioner. Would love to stay again during summer!
