Great place for family’s to visit, my toddler was obsessed with the playroom garage. Absolutely stunning grounds and quirky internal decor.

pro’s: beautiful location, provided kayaks for the lake with life jackets, pool with palms and great outdoor lighting, spacious, open & bright, lots of parking space, modern furniture, heating and aircon work well. Picture perfect lake view at sunset. Bedrooms all had blinds, bathrooms extremely trendy and modern. Luxury experience!
Bbq was perfect for entertaining.

Cons: a lot of doors wouldn’t work including back glass sliding door and certain door handles wouldn’t lock or shut properly or lock us in.
A few minor cleaning mishaps for a high end property like half used toilet paper, dirty floors etc for the price point.
The fridge wasn’t keeping our groceries cold enough.

Perfect for a group holiday and only 20-30 drives to pubs, restaurants and activities at the entrance or Terrigal.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. We especially loved the comfy beds, the outdoor dining table and the view over the trees and ocean. Waking up to birdsong every morning was bliss. What lets this listing down is the estate agency managing it. We asked for an early check in because no one was staying the night before. They agreed to this but said there would be a fee. When I explained we’d paid almost $3000 for the stay, and maybe that could be taken into account, they refused. Any late checkouts would also incur a fee. Being 8 of us we planned all our nightly meals using the large pictured BBQ, which we only discovered on arrival was broken and had been replaced by a very small BBQ, teetering on top of the broken one, which wasn’t big enough for the amount of people booked. One of the beds had dirty, sandy sheets, but housekeeping arrived pretty quickly to remake the bed with clean sheets. The bathroom floors were also unwashed and we had to clean those before we used them.

The Airbnb we stayed was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The house location was easy to park our car. The sight was amazingly beautiful. Matt from HolidayCo Killcare was very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend anyone with family to stay with them.
