I was okay with everything, but no communication is immediately awful. We had no hot water during our stay and they never responded. Could not properly wash dishes or take a shower.

NEVER WORK W/ THESE HOSTS
The entrance took a few tries to open, but I got inside & put 1 bag down, then went to get the rest of my stuff. After that the door would NOT OPEN. One of my bags was inside!
I messaged at 8:30pm saying the door won't open. No response. After 30 minutes I contact Airbnb & they give me the host's number to call. The host's phone doesn't answer, AND doesn't have their voicemail set up.
AN HOUR LATER they respond "try code ####." No apology. I go try the new code, it doesn't work. They never respond again. After 2 hours I finally leave & have to sleep in my car in a well-lit parking lot. In the middle of the night Airbnb sends a message saying they'll give me a full refund for the host's behavior.
The next morning the police come, & NO ONE is getting an answer from these people. FINALLY, 14 hours after I first contacted them, they respond. No apology, just "we're out of town." 1pm on day 2 of my stay the lock is finally fixed, I get my stuff & GET OUT.

This place was close enough to downtown for us to walk or Uber at a good price. Highly recommend booking with Dina and Abe.

It has an excellent location in terms of being walking distance from the city, but the bedroom window was right next to the I-10 freeway which made it very loud.
It was basic, but had everything thing we needed.
