The Kuro Cottage is a real gem for nature lovers.
We had a peaceful stay, feeling truly connected to nature.

The listing doesn’t include Wi-Fi or a washing machine—something I hadn’t paid attention to beforehand—but Ruth kindly provided us with a data bundle for internet access, which was very thoughtful.

We were traveling with our 1.5yo toddler, and the space was perfect for her to explore and discover animals. The dogs on the property are very friendly, which added to the warm atmosphere.

A few small upgrades could make the stay even better: hot water upstairs, a bit more sound insulation (the wooden structure makes it quite easy to hear everything), and some help with starting the fireplace, as the wood was quite damp and difficult to light without fire starters.

Overall, we had a lovely experience and highly recommend the cottage!
