I retired to Whistler a few years ago for the wonderful, active lifestyle. It's a stunning place to call home. During the winter months, I enjoy downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowing shoeing. In the warmer months I cycle and hike. I've been fortunate to have gotten involved as a volunteer with the Village Host program and with the Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Host program, both of which have been thoroughly enjoyable. We stayed at Clare and Mike’s two-bedroom suite in Whistler while attending a four-day national conference at the Fairmont Chateau. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the conference centre and Whistler Village. The suite itself was lovely, quiet, and spotless, with everything we needed and more. Clare and Mike were excellent hosts—very communicative, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The gardens were beautiful and added such a peaceful touch. We felt completely at home and are already looking forward to returning as soon as possible.

We loved our stay here and can’t wait to take the family back here! Everything was within walking distance (although in heels still was a little bit of a struggle) but the host had provided great local information and taxi numbers and that was very helpful as well if you wanted to get to the Olympic village without a 20minute walk! The place felt cozy and was perfect for the weekend we had!
