Jeffrey's place was perfect for our learning cohort retreat. The 8 bedrooms was perfect for accommodating everyone comfortably. The living room (in unit 40) was perfect size for the group of 13 meeting together , especially because of the large L-shaped sofa. Ample bathrooms also made the stay for that many people very manageable. Also helpful was a Safeway and Trader Joe's across the street. The house is right in downtown Millbrae near a mall, so it doesn't feel particularly "retreat-like" but facility-wise it worked well in terms of having spaces for people to mingle and be in conversation with one another (the priority). The reason for the 4 stars is that it took us overnight to resolve internet access, which threw off our program schedule considerably. But once it was resolved (proper instructions given), it was fine. Now knowing how to deal with the internet, I would definitely consider coming back.

Celebrated our HS reunion! Most of us haven't seen each other for 40+ years! There were 21 ppl who attended and came from different places. Only 16 stayed overnight, and the rest went home before midnight! The house was great for San Francisco location! It can accommodate a large group. We had plenty of room to spread out. The 8 bedrooms were all decent sizes; the 5 bathrooms are also nice to have for a large group!

Overall, this place was perfect for us! This house is not boujee, luxurious, or fancy! It sure served its purpose for our get together. Location is great! Close to SFO airport, grocery stores, church, shops and restaurants. Jeffrey answered all my questions in a timely manner. He even allowed a last minute "early check-in" request. I recommend Jeffrey’s Home in Millbrae if you have a large group. You cannot beat the convenience and price for staying here. We are planning our next reunion and might book here again next time. Jeffrey's place was a great stay and matched the listing advertised. The hosts were very responsive and provided everything expected. There were some noticeable stains and dirty floors upon arrival, but it was a great stay for a large group of guests.

Unfortunately there were problems with one of the units of this listing's 2 unit setup. Like some other reviewers have highlighted, there were ants in 2 of the bedrooms, noticeable stains on sheets, and what appeared to be mold in one of the bathrooms. These issues prevented a few of the folks in our party from being able to sleep, so felt like we had a disappointing stay. Would have hoped the owner/manager would have addressed these issues given others leaving this feedback but hopefully this provides some visibility to others.
