Stayed about a month in Maylene's home. Everything was as described and clean. Open floor plan with a good kitchen including a stove with oven! Big plus for my wife and I as we both like to cook. A few different size pots and frying pans would be a bonus. All the pots were on the larger size and only one frying pan. A toaster would also have been nice. Had to use the oven to toast which which is a waste of energy and inconvenient. Better/more cutting knives would improve food preparation if you like to cook. During heavy rain there were a few leaks especially on the first floor landing of the stairs and down the pole by the dinning room. Wasn't a big deal for us but something to be aware of. Decent wifi and tv. Only 2 brief brownouts less than a few hours both times. Overall it's a great place, clean and quiet neighbourhood, and a great price!! Thanks Maylene we enjoyed our stay!!

Stayed at Maylene's for 3 weeks and it exceeded expectations. She was communicative and hospitable throughout our stay.

The house was spotless with everything we needed. As Western travelers, we felt safe and comfortable - really a home away from home.

What stood out:
- Crystal clear tap water
- No mosquito issues
- AC and beds were perfectly comfortable
- Peaceful, quiet neighborhood
- TV worked well
- Food delivery menus provided
- Having a washing machine for 3 weeks was very convenient

The kitchen was fantastic - fully equipped for cooking with every utensil and appliance we needed. We cooked several meals without any issues.

Maylene accommodated our special requests without hesitation, really going above and beyond.

Would absolutely book again next time in Davao. Highly recommend for anyone wanting clean, safe accommodation with a host who genuinely cares about guests' comfort.
