What a fabulous stay in Philly!! Location, location, location….Pia’s place is In the middle of a beautiful neighborhood with so much in walking distance. I did not adhere to reviews saying not to rent a car….DONT RENT A CAR IN PHILLY…I made it work but it’s not worth it at it’s not cheap…I did park it overnight at Rittenhouse garage, that is a short 5 minute walk. Pia is helpful in telling you about parking and garages. The house is lovely in a quiet neighborhood. I was traveling with my daughter and her boyfriend. I gave them the bed and I slept on the futon, it’s not a bed but was comfortable enough for the few days we were there. The house is clean and equipped with dishes, soaps for kitchen and bathroom. Laundry is available but we didn’t use it. Pia checked in throughout the trip, which was so kind.
I let my daughter’s boyfriend handle the key, there are instructions for opening the door so keep those handy. Be mindful that the screen door can lock behind you. We would stay again!
