This place is definitely worth the price. Beds were comfortable and clean. The host was responsive. You are in Tulum town so far from the beach (which is full of sargassum seaweed anyways so not very nice). There were a few odd things at first, only 2 forks in a house for 4 people, the shower curtain was black on the bottom, only one bed had a blanket, and the kitchen was dusty and dirty…not very clean. There are dogs on the property who we were not warned about. We weren’t sure if they were friendly as they are very skittish. They charged at us a few times but no issues just a bit freaky. There is also a very friendly cat. If you leave any door open for a second she will come inside. She was begging for food quite a bit. Overall it was an okay stay and like I said definitely worth what we paid considering Tulum prices.
