My husband Jeff and I have been married for sixteen years. Jeff is an Asheville native and works in Sales and I work in downtown Asheville in the local theatre community. We built Allegro cottage because we wanted a place where we could host family, friends and travelers who need a quiet retreat while exploring the Asheville and Black Mountain area We hope you love this place as much as we do.

My friend and I stayed at the Allegro Cottage while visiting the area to see the Biltmore, and it couldn’t have been a better choice! The location is perfect - just minutes from the main attractions, shops, and great dining options.

The cottage itself is small but so thoughtfully designed; every inch is used well, making it cozy, efficient, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. You can tell the owners put real care into creating a welcoming space.

I only wish we’d had more time there to relax and enjoy it fully. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in town!

My husband and I spent three nights at this cute one bedroom cottage nestled among a backdrop of trees and a rocking chair front porch. The place was clean, inviting, and quiet. Although it did not a full size kitchen; it had everything one would need for simple meal prep (air fryer, toaster oven, hot plate, tea kettle, microwave, coffee maker and a counter size refrigerator). The living room furnishing and bed were very comfortable. It is a place we would enjoy returning to if in the area again.
