There is nothing left to be desired. The host is incredibly friendly and his recommendations should definitely be trusted, in my opinion. Second only to the host is the location and home. The panoramic views from this hilltop are stunning. From the bay and town below to the lush green peaks in the distance, all is beautiful.

Once you descend the hill, there are a few options within a 5 minutes walk for food/drinks. Make sure to check ahead for hours of operation. The Slipway was very close and had the best red snapper I’ve ever experienced.

Walking to Tyrell Bay, which is where the ferry arrives/departs, took us about 10 minutes. From there, you can hail a bus or taxi most days, with service slowing after ~6:00 pm. It’s about 10 minutes drive to Paradise Beach and a little over 20 minutes to Hillsborough.

Absolutely worth every penny, thank you so much to the host. You made us very welcome and it was a special experience.
