The flat is a bit worn and there is some damp issues in the downstairs toilet that can't be fixed without some renovation. I probably could have overlooked this, especially as the price was competitive.

Unfortunately, while in the main the cleaning was up to scratch ( the bed sheets were clean and fresh, the surfaces, and hob were clean) there were some spills in the fridge, and food under the couch, the extraction in the downstairs bathroom was coated in dust, and the flat smelt of what I suspect was cannabis smoke.

There were also screws sticking out of the bottom of the downstairs bedroom doorway. They ought to fix the metal strip across the threshold.

As I was staying with my wife and infant daughter we decided to cancel our booking and find elsewhere.

Salman was extremely accommodating, and had been very helpful prior to arrival sorting out parking. He did offer to attempt to resolve the issues, but we were staying 1 night and just wanted to go. He accepted a full refund.

This was my 2nd stay here. Great spot and lovely host.

Served its purpose for a bed over a rugby weekend
