We had a lovely short stay at Ambleside and Garn Yam helped make it special with its cosy feel and close proximity to the town and the surrounding walking areas, but also remaining peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend it and hope to be back soon.

The property is located centrally in Kendal. It is less than 2 minutes walk away from the town centre. The property was very clean and tidy. Everything was as described and matches the photos provided. It was very cosy and the kids enjoyed themselves. Everything was communicated in great detail in advance which was a great help. Paul and Sally were very quick to respond to any queries. We would definitely recommend the property to anyone who would like to stay in Kendal.

Just got back from an amazing stay at The Snug in Keswick with my girlfriend! The place itself was so cozy and comfortable, we loved it. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of town and close to everything. We could walk everywhere, from shops to restaurants and the lake. Definitely recommend booking this place if you're planning a trip to the Lake District!
