Such a treasure! Ripe raspberries in the garden brought me back to my childhood.

We loved this place, just two downsides. Pros: Peter is a wonderful host. Communicative, thoughtful, generous, kind, flexible and very responsive. The kitchen well stocked, bed truly extra comfortable, linens clean and fresh. Charging our electric car overnight was SO helpful. Forest setting of this spacious, rustic cabin is just beautiful and the garden wild. Great location, not far up on historic Albion Ridge, 15 minutes from Mendo, close to hikes and beaches. Cute little grocery store 5 mins down the road. This place is for people who are comfortable in free nature and flexible. Downsides: We lost sleep with loud raccoons waking us up under the bathroom floor. Also, the shower is awkward. The shower head is placed on the edge of a cool cast iron tub at an angle that keeps water off the floor but the flow narrow, so you are squished up against the edge of the vinyl shower curtains. Maybe that’s something Peter can redesign? Despite this, it was a beautiful experience! We loved it 💕

This was our third stay in this cozy cabin, and won't be the last. Peter thought of everything for this cabin! We love the garden setting and the privacy, the skylines, toasty fireplace and the claw tub with the view of the woods.
