You are staying in a historical building on a historical island so it won't be a five star hotel experience. But things worked for the most part, the property caretaker is wonderful and speaks a little bit of English, the breakfast was good (by West African standards - fried eggs, lots of bread, butter, yummy apricot jam, Nutella, lots of filtered coffee) and they even served it to me early on the checkout day so I could catch the morning ferry.

Adama had the wifi speeds checked for me before the arrival and I appreciated that. The directions and location wasn't clear and unfortunately she didn't clarify further until after I already checked in. I got in touch with the local caretaker and he told me to meet at two different places and wasn't at either until we finally figured things out.

Things happen. Overall, it was a good stay. The location is slightly away from the main hustle and bustle part so I enjoyed that. I would probably stay here again if I come back to the island.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la Résidence Adama. Ibou était extrêmement réactif et accessible. L’emplacement est parfait et la rue est calme. Merci pour l’accueil.

excellent trip, initially we wanted to stay from the 14th to the 15th... we ended up staying til the 16th. I'm a maniac person when it comes to cleanliness and had no complain, my favorite area was the suite which we took from the 15th to the 16th, the window gives you a view of the whole coast and the water sound is enough to make me sleep, it s august but weather was great, the AC get really cold which is perfect ( just adjust the temperature). we loved out stay, breakfast was good also. wll come back for sure this is our new spot. ❤️ thank you Mr Ibrahima Wade a great host, soft spoken, serviable and responsive. when I got lazy I would just send him a message if we need something and he will promptly espond.

Notre séjour à la résidence Adama s’est très bien passé ! Ibou nous a très bien accueilli. Il a été à l’écoute très serviable et nous a suggéré un excellent guide pour notre excursion sur l’île de Gorée.
Le logement est impeccable avec une superbe vue sur la mer, nous avons eu la chance de séjourné lorsque la mer était agité et le spectacle est magnifique ! Le petit déjeuner aussi est parfait ! Je recommande !
