We had such an amazing stay! It was so convenient and the mountain and slopes were very easily accessible. The hosts were very responsive and communicative. The house slept the 5 of us very comfortably with extra room!! Highly recommend!

Ericka and Derek’s place did not disappoint. It was very clean and had lots of space. Took my family of 5 to Beech Mountain for a one day getaway and we had a great time. Will definitely recommend this place if you are visiting the area.

We loved our last minute mountain/ski trip! The home is perfect for a family (or 2). It was a quintessential mountain home with a great and warm fireplace along with the sounds of a creek (although we didn’t explore the fire-pit/creekside because it snowed!). You definitely need a 4-wheel drive car if any inclement weather occurs. The best part, our fur babies were able to be with us on our trip! This house is about 10 minutes to Beech Ski Resort, which was one of the reasons we picked it. The hosts respond quickly and everything was seamless from entry, getting wi-fi for our kids, working the TV’s, etc. We would definitely return again!

We enjoyed our stay at Sugar Mountain. Erica and Derek were great with communication. We would stay there again. There are a lot of small things that are broke, but it didn’t impact our stay. Also, take the 4WD thing seriously! It snowed, unexpectedly, our last night there and we were unable to get out of the drive until we shoveled it and the snow plow came by!
