We stayed here for 5 nights after a hectic 4 nights in very busy Destin. While Lakeland itself is typical Florida traffic along the main drags - Debbie’s home was a pocket of peace and serenity. No noise from cars, no noise from neighbors, just sounds of the lake and birds and wind chimes. Two of our friends that live local visited and it was a fun relaxing weekend with just us two couples plus our pup - cooking and swimming and not feeling like we had to leave and go anywhere. The pool is huge and was very clean and refreshing. We felt right at home. Thank you for sharing such a great place!

We loved our stay here! We felt right at home and loved the pool and view of the lake. We needed help with a few things and the host responded right away and took care of them. Highly recommend!

We had a very nice stay at this property. The house is very comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. There is a lot of restaurants and places to eat close by. We visited the little bait shop close to the house and did catch a few fish right from the dock. Everyone enjoyed the pool, which was massive and on a very nice, screened area with plenty of seating. The host was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend the property.

Our stay was 2/15 thru 3/31/24 Stayed at Debbie’s home for 6 weeks and it worked out well for our time away from the Maine winter. The home was very spacious and being on the lake it had wonderful views. The large pool was awesome, but did have some problems with the water level and heating it. But Debbie did respond to our needs about the issue. Also wanted to mention that the property is very pet friendly as the yard is fully fenced in. It made our stay so much easier as we did have our pet dog Bo with us, he fit right in with no problem. The main bathroom had no shower just a soaking tub, so if you were in a bedroom with no bath attached you had to go thru someone’s bedroom for a shower, but not a game changer for us. The surrounding area seemed safe and very walkable, location was close to many restaurants and stores, very convenient. We booked our next winter vacation at Debbie’s home, would recommend this property, lovely stay. Thanks to Amanda,Debbie and all who helped out.
