very good location close to lots of things, responsive host

On paper this apartment is wonderful. The place was clean and spacious, and communicating with owner was easy. However we arrived to a freezing apartment that wasn’t heated. By the time to two small heaters were working, it still wasn’t warm enough. There were two heaters in the living room and bathroom that were out of service. The owner did provide two additional heaters to plug in, but because of the high ceilings and the size of the apartment it was just impossible to get to a comfortable heating level. The fact that there was no rug in the living room and the floor was freeing didn’t help. With two kids, we had to spent more time outside because it wasn’t fun to be indoors. Also, because the bathroom heater doesn’t work, there is a light smell of mold which for people with asthma is quite triggering (my son had to shower with the door open). I would recommend fixing the hearing before renting what could be a lovely apartment for a Paris stay!
