The places pretty much looks like in the pictures. Lots of beds, big rooms. The reasons for 2 stars are following:

1) cinema is hard to make work. I don't think its broken, its just hard to understand how to make it work.

2) pool table is not well positioned, as mentioned already.

3) issues with "security deposit". Before check in host asked for security deposit, and said they will return it on the day of checkout. Instead, after a checkout, i had to chase them over for a week, and raise it with AirBnb support to get it resolved. Just to get my deposit back. Very poor communication on that matter.

Overall the stay in general was absolutely fine. Check in was super easy, the place is very spacious. Would agree with some of the other reviews re it could do with a bit of work and touch ups re some of the paints, cupboards loose and toilets not flushing but was fine for what i needed it for.

We did have some back and fourths re a £450 security deposit that wasn’t clear before booking, it has taken a good few weeks for this to be resolved and refunded, with replies being very slow due to investigations it seems, but other than that everything was fine!

Host was unresponsive when problems occurred. Tv was not working with 3 controllers none of them working. Main shower was not working, only shower which was working had peeling walls as no tiling was done. Water was splashing against the wall which lead to wallpaper peeling.

From the previous reviews I can see there have been similar problems from other people who have booked yet the host didn’t help at all, we had to checkout earlier than anticipated from our business trip.

Great location. Really close to the NEC, easy to check in and checkout. House was great and I hope the host will make changes to make it better.

Die Unterkunft ist eigentlich sehr cool und auch praktisch. Jedoch sieht man, dass es nicht sehr ordentlich oder zu wenig gereinigt wird. Die eine Dusche funktionierte gar nicht und im unteren Zimmer hat es keine Vorhänge, somit zu hell in der Nacht.
