We are Sydney and Andrew, an active duty military family who are never in one place for very long, but have fallen in love with Down East and Acadia, Maine. We are animal lovers and have rescued two Golden Retrievers, Macaroni and Cashew, who are always in tow. They love to chase birds and squirrels and roll in the grass as much as we enjoy relaxing, reading a good book, and enjoying the outdoors.

This little retreat in the woods was perfect for 3 adults, 1 kiddo, and 2 dogs. Removed from the road, private and quiet. Delightful amenities, the hot tub was divine. The fire pit was cozy. The kitchen relatively well stocked with tools.
The GPS map directions are slightly off but additional info from hosts was helpful. All their local recos hit the mark.
Very close to gorgeous trails and activities for the ultimate coastal Maine trip without the crowds of bar harbor. Would def stay again.
