We had such a great stay at Kathleen’s place! Everything was well-stocked when we arrived :) there was a hot plate with pans, cooking utensils, and seasonings, plus a full-size fridge which was such a nice touch. We loved using the dining table and how cute, cozy, and comfortable the space felt overall.

The location was perfect, right by Bowen Park and only a 6-minute drive to downtown. Kathleen even thought of all the little details: a fan, snacks, bathroom essentials (lotion, cotton pads, Q-tips), and a hair dryer (thank you for that haha!).

Would highly recommend Kathleen’s place to anyone staying in Nanaimo. If we ever come back, we’d definitely stay here again! Thank you for being such thoughtful hosts!!

I had a great stay! I immediately felt like home, and everything was as described. Clean, tidy, and everything you needed was there. Good bus connections and a great neighborhood. Since I was traveling alone, it made me feel good to know (and hear) someone was in the house with me — I didn't feel alone or unsafe. I'd be happy to come back anytime 😊
