For all relevant tourism information head over to the VIC at 48 Ross street, or call them on 6329 8210. The center is open every day (excluding Christmas day, boxing day, and new years day). Alternatively, you can visit the local tourism website www.visitoberon.com

Voted Best Visitor Information Centre in 2009, the Oberon Visitor Information Centre staff can advise you on the best places to fish for trout, where to fossick for sapphires (and will hire equipment to you), how to book a truffle hunt and give you information onactivities in the region including mountain bike riding, horse riding, bushwalking and many others. The Oberon Visitor Information Centre is open from 9.30am - 5.00pm 7 days per week.
