Goat Island Beach is located roughly 5km west of Ardmore in County Waterford. The inlet where the beach is located faces south and is sheltered to the west side by the island and it can be difficult to find. When the tide is out, the sandy beach allows for some abseiling and rock climbing you can book with Ardmore Adventures, while it is also a great spot for sand castle making with the kids! As the tide comes in, there is another thing to do if you are brave enough - cliff jumping! As you will discover when the tide comes in, it is a local favourite spot to climb the rocks and jump off or just to relax and fish.

Secluded beach off the beaten track. Steep walk down the beach with has cave to explore and rocks to climb.

This is a beautiful beach, a stone throw from where you are staying. It has beautiful caves and an island to climb up. It is safe to swim in and is particular nice on a sunny day
