What an amazing experience! Easy 5 star review. Exploring the old town and palace were a gorgeous start before trying some wines. I was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t all port wines. Pedro was very prompt and kind, he took his time to get to know everyone and answered any questions. You can tell he really loves what he does.

He was always happy to take photos and timed everything to minimize the crowds and have a more local experience which is why I always prefer to do tours like this through Airbnb.

I would highly recommend this tour to everyone, the boat ride was nice and relaxing after a long day and we were so full from lunch we didn’t even have dinner afterwards!

Pedro was a great guide. The Matteus Palace was amazing. Cruising down the Douro was an excellent way to wrap up the day.

Our group had a wonderful time with Pedro. It was just my parents, my husband and me which was great. We like to take our time and Pedro absolutely let us do that while sharing detailed explanations and history. We got so much context. Pedro is quite the expert! He also was very observant and always tried to make sure we got the least crowded/touristy view of the towns/sights. Highly recommend this tour - great full day!
